George Floyd video: George Floyd’s Protest in Minneapolis goes brutal (Video)

The murder of George Floyd is still trending, his death is a fresh tragic event which happened in the early hours of may 25th 2020 after a white Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin knelt of George Floyd’s neck for up to seven minutes.

How the Brutal protest started

The protest began on Tuesday afternoon when more than hundreds of people came to the scene of the incident.

Organizers of the protest tried their best to keep the coronavirus social distancing, but unfortunately it was not working as the protestants were already going brutal.

Before the incident, A white officer was seen using his knee to pin Mr George Floyd to the ground by the neck as Mr Floyd groans “please, I can’t breathe” and “don’t kill me”.

Who is George Floyd

Floyd moved to Minneapolis from his native Houston several years ago in hopes of finding work and starting a new life, said Christopher Harris, Floyd’s lifelong friend. But he lost his job as a bouncer at a restaurant when Minnesota’s governor issued a stay-at-home order. On Monday night, an employee at a Minneapolis grocery store called police after Floyd allegedly tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill.

What happened to George Floyd?

Officers responding to reports of the use of counterfeit money approached Mr Floyd in his car on Monday.

According to the Minneapolis police, he was told to move away from the car, physically resisted officers and was handcuffed. The police statement noted his apparent “medical distress”.

What is the reaction?

”I am never going to get my brother back” Said George Floyd’s brother, Philonise Floyd, to the Minneapolis officer. He also mentioned that the murderer, Derek Chauvin needs to get a death sentence.

United Nations chief, Michelle Bachelet ondemed George Floyd’s death. He called the protesters to be peaceful and to not worsen the current situation.
